Am I wasting my time with the odd fire? Or look for a 77 even fire and not worry about changing the nose on the car to make it look like a 75?

I thought I would start out with the v-6 first, to have a little fun and see how things go before looking into putting the 305 back in. With the V-6, I would fall in the V/SA class and should be fun for a beginner.

Thoughts?
Rick, I would swap an even fire crank and cam into the block that you have. I don't have a rulebook in front of me but I think it is legal. If it is, I would get the crank out of one of the later EFI cars that has the factory crank trigger ignition as well. I run an even fire Buick V6 in my car and the balance job works good. I have never had any problems with the crankshaft and I buzz it pretty good.
