Most of the F bodies I build have 26" tires on them.
I would have liked a taller tire on the one I drove to slow down my reaction times,but tire clearance is a little tight.
Even with the 26" tire you will have to trim out the top of the inner fender, or the track crew will be following you after a wheelstand to pick up whats left of the liner.
I have put 27" tires on one car I did, but we did have to raise the front end a little to keep them from hitting even when making a slight turn.
