Chuck, common practice would be to lenghen the bar to remove a little preload,but on your car you might do just as well changing the anti roll bar adjustment. .....Some times a little tweek on the bottom bar to change the thrust angle of the rear works better than changing preload on hi power cars. ......Call me .....Tom
