Re: 350 chevy bore size?
Thanks for the serious reply Jim. I am using a chevy block, the 010 block. I used one just like it when I built the superstock engine yrs. ago. On that engine I had it bored .060 from standard. I had wall thickness checked and some sides were marginal at best. I used the "Hardblock" brand filler on it. It was a very dependable engine, although not real fast. As I learned more about superstock engines I applied that to the engine and it picked up gradually. My thinking is that maybe I shouldn't have gone .060 with that piece. Would you use hardblock on a block if it is .030 and in stock not superstock? Again, thanks for your serious answer. I believe I saw you, and maybe a brother, racing a 68 camaro in superstock at Houston Nat'l. in 2002, 2003, or 2004. My memory is not real good, but I remember your name on the sheets. I thought you were either having trouble with the car or new car bugs. I was the bright orange 69 camaro ss/ha. I was having the time of my life and probably showed it.
