Speaking of IHRA Pure Stock, (of which I want to run)... I see where the rulebook says you have to have the stock trans for yr. and h.p. claimed.
The way I understand the wording is that the
automatic is restricted to a shift kit and convertor only.
However, the wording on the
manual trans does not list any internal restrictions. Does that mean I could run a fully race prepped T-5 in my 95 Mustang GT ...as long as the outside of the trans appears stock for my 95 ?
Just curious...not that a 14 sec. car needs a full tilt T-5
