On the Holley 3-barrels. The popular unit is the 950cfm carb. That was the one Holley marketed. Also, a 1050cfm unit was made. Somewhat hard to find today.
Many of the 1972 Plymouth/Dodge 'Police Pursuit Vehicles' utilized the
400 "B" engine. The code #E68 was somewhat under-powered with
low-compression (8.2-1). Called the 'cheapie town-mountie cop car', if you had that engine. I wonder if the dealers swapped on different
carb-mounting plates, and popped on the Holley 950 3-barrel, to get a liitle more power.
The 'state troopers' almost always got the more potent 440 'RB' engines.
