There was a factory supercharged 312 V8 available in 1957 Fords, rated at 300HP, but it used a single 4 barrel. They also offered a 2x4 barrel 312, but it wasn`t supercharged, and I believe was rated at 270 HP. It seems that there were several different people running the blown 57 Fords back in the Jr. Stock days, including 2 dr posts, 4 dr HT`s, and even a wagon or 2. The ex Larry Walker from California 2 dr post blown 57 has been up here in BC Canada since about 1971, and is being restored to "Legal Cheater" status, after sitting for over 30 years.
