I run a 90 Mustang right at 2850# on 28x10.5's and can get between 100 - 150 runs out of a set of tires, and run between 7.5/8.5# air in them depending on the track...

May want to try a stiff sidewall tire if you can find them in your size...

Also, 300# of ballast??? not all bolt in I hope...
