Lower fitting is "To Cooler"
Best place to put Temp Gauge is into the pan
The governor shift points are determined by a combination of the weights and the springs. The smaller weights basically control the WOT 1-2 and 2-3 shift points. Raise the 2-3 shift point first by lightening up the small weights, do this in small steps. Then use the springs to dial in the 1-2 shift. The lighter the springs the higher the shift point. B&M makes a kit , if you get in trouble.
