Re: Super Comp License
I would focus on bracket racing, first at your local track, then maybe at more tracks in the region. Introduce yourself to local racers in the classes you want to race, and ask questions while being respectful of their time. Between rounds in an obvious thrash is a bad time! Once you get to know these people, MAYBE one of them will let you borrow their car for licensing passes. I have seen it done before. I got my SG license when I was 20, but it was in my own car that I scrimped and saved for (and bought a lot of cheap hand-me-down parts for). Around here the more serious class racers (Stk/SS & SG/SC) don't do much local bracket racing anymore, so you may have to go to some divisional events to meet these people. You can also offer to help crew for them, starting with the simplest tasks. It would be a good way to learn the ropes.
Regards,
