Default Re: SS 4speed G-force or Jerico ?

I bought my Jerico around 1990. It's been through Stock and Superstock with me. Never less than 5400 RPM launches (back when I thought that was a high RPM launch!) and most recently @ 7800 RPM.
It's been apart 3 times for gear ratio changes and everytime the trans looks perfect. I've never broke a thing.
If I bough a new one I'd get the whiz-bang roller everything trans. Both Jerico and G-Force offer their own versions. I can't imagine there would be anything wrong or greatly superior from one brand to the next. The key to stick shift performance is in the clutch. Get it right and virtually eliminate breakage, run as fast as mathmatically possible and be as consistant as an automatic. I've run soft-locks and Advanced clutches. Advanced offers a better product and more product knowledge, hands down.
Good luck and have fun!
