Much like the Zl-1 Corvettes, yes there are at least 2 ZL-1 Camaros running. My Camaro started with the Aluminum block, but I broke a rod at the 2008 Winternationals. I am now entered at the 2009 Winternationals but have went to a iron block temporarily till I figure a few more things out with combo, because there ain't many people who know much about what this combo wants. It's all trial and error for me, but I am commited to get it figured out. I still feel the H.P. factor is to high an A/SA carrys 3730 lbs which makes it not 60 foot very well. I now have everything in place to move to AA/SA 3508 lbs after Pomona, and then we'll see if I'm on the right track. Many people think that the Aluminum block won't make the power that the iron block will of course not many will spend $4600. to find out. I will go back to the aluminum block by the end of the summer and hopefully it will run better than the 10.34 127 mph it ran at 2008 winternationals.
