Not to mention doing it this way, you have an easier time budgeting your money. Its nice when you have a race car... and its even nicer when its paid for. Just thought i'd add that.

Also, I don't know what all you are capable of doing such as fabing stuff. We own a machine shop, so there isn't much we can't do, and I know not everyone has that ability. I'd just do what you can, and shop smart... there are a lot of cars and motors out there.
