350 transmission with trans brake

For those of you who race a 350 transmission with a trans brake. Please give me your feedback about doing so. Have you raced with both a Powerglide and 350 trans?

I switched from a glide to a 350 last year. Both have brakes. The 350 is a little quicker and seems to be a bit more consistent. You have to have a really good light weight 350 to improve on a glide. The 350 is average .04 to .05 quicker in the 60 ft.
