Engine rules for stock
 

Wondering if NHRA has a complete breakdown on what can-cannot be done to an engine? MORE than what’s in the general rule book. I’ve asked about certain things from current racers but was told one can’t do that, i didn’t see any reference in the ‘book’ on that.

There is not a perfect rule book.
The NHRA rule book is quite clear about what is legal.
However, they cannot account for creativity, interpretation, and intent.

They could but they don't want the lawsuits.

Random interpretation of the rule book, leniency, and favoritism gave birth to some of the lawsuits.
