East Coast Auto Electric - owner retired

Good morning,
Who is the go to for 12v racing alternators now that the ECAE owner has retired?
I would like to have my 1 wire CS130 tested and dont know of anyone local in Omaha that has the capability to fully test it.

Thanks,
Clark

An auto parts store that is equipped with an alternator tester can the job. It is not complicated nor high tech. You can also bench test it with a drill and battery and jumper wires. If the alternator puts out at drill speed and sounds normal, it will put out at higher speeds. You are simply looking for voltage, the amperage output will be OK if the voltage is in range. [of course, there are always unusual exceptions but in general, this is true]
