With the new rule of full face helmets what is the snell # OR WHAT IS APproved (dam cap lock button).
I'v seen prices from 145.00/ 400.00
M05 or m2005 what # is needed to pass tech.?

Bryan,
My understanding reading page 97 of the rule book states any Snell "M" helmets Full face are acceptable. I have a m2000 helmet which would be good until 1/1/2012 . If you buy a M2005 it will be good until 1/1/2017. the number after the "M" is generally the year of manufacture and the expiration date is figured from that date.

I agree with the last post, unless your going faster then 7:50 then I believe you need an "SA" before the year. I have seen some really good deals on Racing Junk on both new and used. I have seen new 2005 for as low as 115.00 (dont know if you would trust your head in one, but they are out there)
