2 step in IHRA stock??
Just wondering if the 2 step is still allowed in stock. I don't want to wire it all in and then have to cut all the wiring out at the first national I attend.

Re: 2 step in IHRA stock??
Line lock and two step functions must be independently wired and not activated any other function on the entry.
(11/15/07) The two step or 3 step must be mounted on the brake or clutch pedal on all entries. The function may not be activated or de-activated by any other switch on the car. |

Bobby,
Where did you find that rule. I was told no decision had been made. Chip |
Re: 2 step in IHRA stock??
So I can have a 3 step (top end, burnout and leave) but they can't be wired into the line lock. What about burnout RPM protection? It will have to be wired into the line lock for burnout protection. Is this legal??

Re: 2 step in IHRA stock??
Burn out will have to have a toggle switch to turn it on ,and the line lock will be used as usual. when you are done with burn out ,then flip toggle switch back off .That way you are wired seperatly and you are legal.Don't know about the rest of 2-step issues as of yet .I have not been told if it will change like NHRA or not .Maybe we can find out at PRI this weekend .Seeya gone to the sunshine state for a few days ....
