Vp c-11 pump gas

HI
rumor has it that c11 has a hard time passing fuel check, firing up new build this weekend, every thnig new motor 8.5-1 etc. have fresh c-11, was going to flush new fuel system cell, pump, lines etc with pump gas 93 , would it contaminate cell, foam etc?

I use C-11 since 2005, never had a problem with tech.

Do not do that. A whiff of regular gas can contaminate the readings. I can't even imagine how screwed up a full load of that regular fuel would do to your chances of passing a fuel check. We have had lawnmower gas in a plastic jug and reused it a week later for race gas and flunked tech immediately.
You will find C-11..."finickly". We ran it for years but every so often, always in super hot muggy conditions it will flunk. You always will know whos running it as on thoses days several of us would be standing around the scales, holding up the lines trying to get 11 to pass. It gets stale easily. Unless you really think your combo likes it (some do), I'd put 12 in it and be done with it ..

I would remove the foam in the fuel cell first.
C-11 will be a touch faster than C 12 in your low compression motor.
C 11 Vapor rate is very low , keep in metal cans and in cool places.
Clean out you inline filter and put C11 in it.
You can take fuel to the fuel test pe

trailer before hand and confirm its good if your concerned for any reason.

going to bite the bullet and just use the c-11 $125 5gal pail and flush system, maybe just a gallon or 2, a few dollars will save a lot o grief, might even strain it and put it back in :)

Didn't remove the foam a few years back. What a mistake. Ended up falling apart and into the fuel line. BP

So, it sounds like I need to remove the foam from my cell.

Or leave it in and let us know when not if it ends up in the fuel line. Ended up in my regulator. Though the regulator was bad and replaced it. That one screwed up a run later and that's when I found it. BP

The foam will retain the earlier gas and you WILL fail fuel check!!! remove it!

100% agree with removing the foam!! Not even just because you want to test with pump gas, but even if changing race gas brands from time to time. Removing the foam clearly helps fuel check.

Regarding pump gas for tnt, even without foam I got burned one time. I didn’t flush enough race fuel through it (trying to be cheap) and wound up failing fuel and having to waste way more race fuel than if I would have just flushed another gallon or so through.
