The Dutch Classic is a National Open. So D1 has 5 opens this year.

Mason-Dixon dropped out and Lebanon Valley (Open) ....2 tracks I always enjoy going to.
Oh well, on the bright side, I'll just consider the savings in diesel fuel.

I just posted the National Open Schedule since we lost 3 races for 08 with Mason Dixon, Leb Valley and Maple Grove losing their 2nd National Open. So 7 Divisionals, 5 National Opens. It's still not as bad, not as much traveling the way gas is going now. More room for MASGA Races..... :). Hey Leanne are we looking at the same tracks and 10 races for next year?

Glad to see Numidia back in the mix, shorter drive than Mason Dixon for us, and they are running TS and TD.

They took away the double at the Grove. For someone with an average 6 hour drive anywhere, it was nice to get 2 races in on one weekend. Oh well.

Michele - Instead of just skipping the open, people got on here last year and complained about the vacation time needed to run both races. I guess this scenario works better for them.

You're right Jason. I guess to me it didn't make a difference if I took 2 days off in a row or 2 singles, just in gas to travel. I think I was tired of the turnpike!! I guess I just need to take a permanent road trip out of New York!! Hey, hope you all are someplace warm! Say hi to the family for me. See ya in January.
