Headers!!!
Does anyone make a header that the average working man can afford?
Asking for a friend, he said laughing. OR, does anyone have a set of 82-92 Camaro, 1 5/8-1 3/4" step header, preferably stainless, but will look at all. Thanks, J.R. |

Re: Headers!!!
JR,I know we have talked about this in the past, I can probably help you with this but I really need a chassis to use as a fixture. I've done them for this combo in the past but never fixtured up for it. If you know of any racers in the NW area that could loan me their car over the winter, I could do something for you. Just from past experience, it seems like every time someone wants headers built off of chassis dimensions, it seems like it always turns into a nightmare, don't like doing things twice (or three times).

Re: Headers!!!
JR, no way getting around it . Stainless tri y headers will set you back 3500-4500 dollars. If you could find a good used set of mild steel stahl step headers , I would recommend buying them .

Re: Headers!!!
MJ, what about the company that has all of Stahl`s fixtures etc., are they
still making headers. Maybe I could get a new-old set of Stahl`s. Would that be the same thing as getting an old-old set? With the privilege of being Canadian, 4000.00 U.S headers will cost me 7000.00 Canadian, so that's why I am doing anything I can to look at different options. J.R. |
