TH200 first gear???

Looking at purchasing a th200 for my 78 Malibu wagon with a 350. Runs I/SA car weights 3450. Also have a 305 for it I was wondering what first gear ratio would be the best for these two combos. Together or separate. Thanks.

Most run a 2.91 first gear, Scott McClay builds them, or numerous other guys, any interest in selling your 305 motor?
