You have a pretty rare block. Give me a call at 704-425-0526 and I can fill you in on it.

What bore is it? Is it a 4.080 bore and Siamese block? Solid between the cylinders? Send me the full SK number I have a friend that has most of SK And XE books from Ford

There is an SK 333 listed on MustangTek. No info but pics and ID numbers.

EDIT: Indeed rare. SK and XE blocks are factory experimental or limited production castings. Do not sell that thing.

Many people use those blocks to keep their boat from drifting, when they want to fish in one spot. :D

That's what I was told about Mexican blocks. ..And Ford blocks in general.

Seriously, there is little info on this block in my Ford Parts Interchange reference book and only a bit on-line. Worth digging into.

Reach out to Jay Cushman. He is on facebook, he has what appears to be millions in inventory of high end Ford racing engine parts from NOS gurney eagle blocks and heads, a Bob Glidden Cleveland pro stock engine, original GT40 parts. He has some of those blocks and will be able to help.

Sometimes, the out of country foundries, i.e. Mexico, didn't have the thin wall foundry techniques and they turned out nice thick dense castings. A local very reputable engine builder out here got a 350 Chevy block that had Hecho en Mexico cast into it. A sonic test revealed that it was very thick and with very little core shift. As a result, it turned out to be one of the fastest 350 Chevy Super Stock motors he had ever seen.It sometimes pays to overlook some things and test further in order to arrive at a great end result.

Yep, the same engine block that gave headaches to the Chevies and Mopars in the early days of Pro Stock and A/Super Modified. :D

Lack of Core Shift =s the core boxes weren’t wore out and pins and bushing were in good shape!
