Mary Ann Jackson (my mother)
 

Mary Ann Jackson has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is having a lump removed tomorrow at the James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. She is in good spirits about the whole deal as doctors think they have detected it early enough. I will give more updates after tomorrows operation.

Joe,
Bob spoke with your Dad yesterday and we wished them well. She has been in our prayers all morning.Hopefully she will get to go home today, if not, I will be over there as my sister is in the James and will stop in and check on her.

You , your Mother and Dad ,,,,already know that I feel like a family member , so it goes without saying that
Mary Ann will be in my prayers !!!

Also : Please Note ,,, My wife had Breast Cancer about 7 years ago , completed all the treatments , medication etc,,,,,, And 7 years later , ( she gets checked every 6 months ! ) NO more cancer !!!

If she would like to talk with someone who has been there , please give us a call ( you have my cell # ),,
I know my wife would be glad to share her experience !!

I'm very sorry to hear this, though with your mother's competitive spirit, I'm sure she'll whip this like no tomorrow. Please tell your mother that we're all thinking of her, and I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible with the procedure.
