NHRA A/SA 1/8 mile rules for index and to fast for HP?
Trying to find out what is the current 1/8th mile number to get HP on a A/SA I think the index is 7.10....so 120 below or 60 below? Thanks in advance for any help!

Ok thank you guys...heading to farmington this weekend and it counts for NHRA point so wasnt sure I saw somewhere a 7.10 index didnt know if that ment 1.20 under 5.90 and u get HP for 1/4 mile or for your car number..thanks! Ken keir race cars!

It's in the AHFS, you might want to check it out some time for it will answer a lot of questions and stop a lot of old wife's tales.

I just checked the stats and Steve Wann holds the record at 6.07 set last year. It would take some work to go .17 quicker, but anything is possible, right???
Maybe contact Steve and see if he thinks it is possible. Mineshaft conditions??? |

A 2015 Camaro in capable hands can run 5.90 easily.
