1996 Camaro Convertible 3.8L Good combo?
We have a customer with a mint 96 Camaro Convertible for sale. Curious if it would be a decent combo or if it should just stay a street car. I think it fit's O or P Auto and would have to weigh 3460lbs I think.

If it's a 3800, it's "pretty good" Steve.

Steve The Liberal, I was involved in one of them last year.
It's beat up pretty good. Lean on it hard, in good air, it's 1.00-1.05 under combo. Better in SS. You need the roll bar anyway. Doubt you could get it light enough though. Stick shift? Much better. Low 12 second car. |

Mark The Republican. That's good to know. I'm not looking for a killer combo, More something that won't break the bank and get me 1/2 second under in D3 in the summer.

Steve the Liberal, my son had a '96 3800 Firebird, auto, T-tops etc. With a posi, a gear, Stocker slicks and a tune (injectors etc) he had it running 12.50 without taking a valve cover off! Jim
