Hello and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everyone ! I hope it was a great one for you all.

Sadly, I am resigning as President of The TSSSSA. My health, which has been on the decline for several years, has unfortunately caught up to me. Some of you know that I was diagnosed with M.S. August 12, 2010. So I will not be doing the S/SS Races any longer. But, if anyone would like to stop by my house to learn how to do the races, please let me know.

I want to thank everyone who competed with us in the twenty-plus years I have been doing these races. Also a big thank you to Tom Lang for giving me the chance; first as announcer in 1997 in our first year and to take over in 1999.

You will all be missed.

Mike, I admire you immensely for your dedication to the task of running the series despite the handicap posed by your health concerns. If someone can step in to keep it going, I hope that you and Mom will be able to enjoy the racing as long as you are able to get out to a track. I'm so glad that I was at the Mason Dixon race in November....for many reasons! :)

Mike, You know I have walked in your shoes, every year brings more problems. Fight it as much as you can, if it was not for my wife I would have gone down for count 2 years ago. I know its hard just dont give up. I am using a walker, next stop is a wheelcharir that sits in the corner. Stay positive, Regards, bp

Sorry to hear that you won't be able to continue running the association. The events I was able to attend were always well run. I am honored to have been able to share your last winner's circle as association president.

I wish you the best of luck, Mike. Unfortunately, it seems the older we get the more problems can happen. I have my own health issues that keep me from racing as much as I used to, that is why I couldn't attend your race. I always like the Mason Dixon race, and always looked foward to it. Thank you for everything you have done. Pat
