Who to modify a holley for stock

Who are the go to people for this ? The first place I've tried was quick fuel as I'd heard they would re-store/modify holleys, but was told today that they used to do this, but no more. They will do a stock re-build or modify one of their carbs, but that's it. Any info is appreciated, it's for a dodge 383 if that matters.

First guy that comes to mind is Donny Little. He's in Calf.

Did you talk to someone at quick fuel? If they quit doing that work, that is a shame.

Ex quick fuel employee Scott Perkins works on many of these carbs with great success. He can be reached at Dale Meers Racing in Buffalo , Ky.

Bob Oliver at Competition Carburation has done many Hollys for us. He's in Sparks Nevada, phone number 775-331-5609. If can he can make a Holley-Motorcraft 4180 work, think what he can do with a normal Holley. Set a national record with one of his 4180's.

I did this morning, and I asked him to ask his supervisior. That was the story I got. I didn't get his name though.

Scott Perkins is really good on Holleys. At Quick Fuel you need to talk to Scooter Vester. Is this the 585 cfm Holley? Quick Fuel sells a new replacement that's legal for stock.

Re: Who to modify a holley for stock

It is a 585, and I saw that it is legal, but it looked like its not legal for a dodge if I read that correctly. If I'm wrong, then great. Scooter wasn't avaliable when I called. I had talked to a salesman, sounded like Scooter is a tech. Unless the new 585 is legal for the dodge, I'll call some of these guys you all recommend. Thanks

Jimmy Bridges in Nashville TN, or Clark Holroyd in CA (if Clark hasn't decided to stop) are two of the best. We've run carburetors that both have built, there are none better.
