"LIVE" from Great Lakes Stock - S/S Association Race #1
 

The rains have cleared and the weather is looking perfect for Race #1 to start the 2017 Great Lakes Stock - S/S Association series. Charlie Downing, Brad Zaskowski, Kyle Jeltema and others are running the Test and Tune tonite at US 131 Motorsports Park. Based on the phone calls, texts, emails and FB posts it looks like a strong car count. Gates open at 8:30 - Time Trials at 10:00.

We will have photos and racing reports on Saturday morning.

It's sunny and cool day at US 131 motorsports Park. 37 cars made the first time run. I'll be back with the racing action soon.

The 2017 GLSSA race series got off to a great start with the biggest turn out and biggest pay day at US131 Motorsports Park. After six rounds of racing the final came down to the E/SA 62 Plymouth of Dan Wolcott and the alway thought SSGT Stickshift Camaro of Brad Zaskowski. Brad was just a little too aggressive on the tree giving Dan the Win and the $1600 winners big check.
