Vintage Chevy Stockers

S/S 55 Chev 150 coupe, last run as SS/O in 1978/79. Sitting as roller, has complete 265 S/S motor(apart) as well as many extra parts, trans, headers, etc. Could be made into Stock Elim, only need to put springs back in stock location. Former Brock & Nelson car, Larry Nelson did pretty well with this. $10K

1960 Chev BelAir U/SA 283/170/PG. Last run late 90's/2000-01, old-school motor still in place. Had run Q-U-V/SA. Best of 14.9's U/SA, 13.95 Q/SA. Many spare parts. Greg Luneack (Tri-City Comp) built this car as U/S "Copper Stopper" back in 1970 or 71. $8K

Both cars could be brought to S-S/S Association racing competitively, or restored as the cars they were "back in the day".

The 60 Chev is still available.

There is also a Chev 409-425HP engine for sale, $9K. Not numbers-matching but 90% new NOS parts. Never assembled, many parts in original boxes.Carbs to Pan. See Ad in Hemmings for a better description.
