"The Surfers" Documentary
I know the "Surfers" (Skinner, Crosser & Jobe and later Skinner, Jobe & Sorokin)) were an early top fuel team from about 1964-1966, but the story about them is so interesting I thought others might enjoy learning about them also. It is a 29 part series posted to you-tube. Lots of photos from the early days of west coast drag racing. It takes a few episodes to really get interesting. Besides, it's winter!

Re: "The Surfers" Documentary
This is a great series. I watched all the episodes last year and am impatiently waiting for them to start back up with new episodes! So cool seeing all the old stuff and hearing the stories. A+

Re: "The Surfers" Documentary
Excellent! I watched every week and was saddened that they ceased to appear. I for one an glad to hear this.

Re: "The Surfers" Documentary
I wish someone would do similar interviews with some the early Stock class racers before they are all gone. I'd bet those stories would be every bit as interesting and humorous. I could listen to those guys all day long.

Re: "The Surfers" Documentary
Seems like about 10 years ago Nat. Dragster did a great story on the Surfers. Tried to find it several times. Anybody?
