One thing is for sure, they will deplete the checkbook in a hurry.....

Re: Dana ceramic bearings
I have a 9", however, the ceramic bearing supplier told me the biggest gain is on the pinion bearings. Maybe a good place to start the changeover.

Re: Dana ceramic bearings
You don't have good enough equipment to measure any if there is one improvement! We tried them in Indy car. Wheel bearings in trans axle and etc not much if anything there. Save your $$$$ invest in something else. Just not cost effective.

Re: Dana ceramic bearings
Ceramic bearings should be the last place you look for ET.

Re: Dana ceramic bearings
If you are maxed out on every thing else on your car there mite be a very, very, small gain not much for what you would spend. It would be better to look at polished bearings and treated ring and pinion along with a good lube and getting a lite spool and ring gear along with gun drilled axles. How you have gears set up with a little as drag a possible, it is all the little things that add up but its tuff to get there. You may not even see that on a ET slip. Tom

Re: Dana ceramic bearings
Before you spend your hard earned money on "trick" parts, spend time on getting all the basics right. You will come out dollars ahead and be surprised how much ET is still left in your car.

Re: Dana ceramic bearings
These types of things rarely get the measure you want. I agree, it is the right course when you have everything else done and still have money. Never is just one thing though. Over time, a really trick car might have all the best stuff done and maybe is a few quicker then everyone. Just being more thoughtful about tuning and driving can make up some et for no money at all.
