Question about a combination?
 

I have a 1967 fastback mustang with a 289 and was wondering if anyone has tried this combo or is using it at the moment? I am graduating college next year and would really like to start throwing some money at this thing if its worth while. Thanks.

I have a buddy that ran his 68 with the 302 combo beat on it for a month or so and could not get it to run very good so they put in an FE but ran it as a 67 because of the PI intake.

Bobby Bishop is running that exact combo right now. He's running M/SA......the car is not real quick (nitro joe stats show .303 under last year) but he is running it.

Greg that is about how my buddys 68 302 was I think they got it to go about .50 under after beating on it for a while. I don't think they had enough power to get the car to work.

Man the 68 heads suck...exh. anyway! about as big as a stamp! of corse if ya put them in the pickle barrel..........;)
