Jack is having issues with his internet connection so I will get this thread going. Today is just a test and tune day. Its in the low 80's and fairly pleasant for this time of year. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same. I watch a few cars go down and early in the day the track was hit or miss on the starting line. It seem to come around as the afternoon went on.

No one was setting any records and it was kind of slow for most. the DA was around 2200 but the numbers for many were slow. One interesting note is the Carp car is back in action with Todd Hoven at the wheel. David Barton will be driving the Cook Brothers Cobra Jet This weekend, giving the COPO a much needed rest.

Here are some random shots of the day. I have some video, but the internet connect is not good here, but I should have them uploaded later tonight.

Hyatt Place Mt. Laurel was where I always stayed pre-motorhome. Its like 16 miles away or so.

Breakfast, fruit, full bar, etc.

I agree with Eric on the Hyatt Place & there's also a Hyatt House in Mt Laurel ... Both are very good & reasonable price for what you get ..

Good morning members and guests - I'm finally connected but for how long is anyone's guess .Yesterdays test n tune was very short on cars - mostly because is was hot and humid and the track for some was a challenge - high horsepower cars on a 9" tire didn't work out as the track temps were in the 130 degree range .

Today is another story as the outside is in the high seventies and sunny but will climb as the day wears on .Time trials are to start @ 9:30 .Tech is open .And did I mention the joint is packed - as in full to the scales with cars still arriving .

As Ken mentioned yesterday Todd Hoven got the call to drive the Carp Construction Hemi Challenger and is taking to it like a duck to water - that eight second piece is a handful compared to his Firebird and he's making the Ray Barton crew happy with his driving skills .Good luck Todd...
