Roll cage kit?

I would like to ask you guys if you have any experience with a CM full cage kits for a Gen 1 Camaro? If so which company would you recommend? Looking to upgrade what I got and want to go with a full CM cage for a 69 stocker.

Thanks

Hard to beat S&W but A.R.T. Is in your area, Clearwater. I just used one of there's and it was a nice piece.

I have had pretty decent success with Chassis Engineering. However, none of the kits fits as tight, works as well, or leaves as much room as a custom bent installation. Pre bent kits are a "one size fits all" thing for the "average installer", so compromises and sacrifices are made.

Robert, you need to take a little ride up north and let Jimmy Parker do the installation. Trust me , you won't be sorry.....

I put a cage from S and W in my 68 Mustang coupe and couldn't get the front down bars to fit right. I ordered a roll bar conversion kit from Chris Alstons Chassisworks and the fit was perfect to the front door pillars.. Look at the link at the end of this post. Pick the style you want and click on the Add to Cart button. It will take you to a detailed order page where you can just about custom fit your car.

X2 kits are a good starting point, but if you want a pro look then they need to be installed by somebody with a tube bender to custom fit everything. One other note, most "kits" do not have enough gussets (especially if your bending the tubes to fit better) and I end up making more which is simple but time consuming.
