When I first saw the "Earthquake" at Dover Drag Strip it had a bang in the pipes like great Max Wedge motors do and it instantly became my favorite race car.

I didn't know Louie Vignogna then, but came to know him pretty well as years went by, along with his wonderfully sweet wife Chris and their son Jimmy who I believe still has the car.

Great people and one of the coolest cars I can remember.

Frank, is it the angle or do the rear wheels look a little too forward in the wheel well?

No, the tire is always close to the front of the wheel opening unless you trim it and move the rear end back one inch on the leaf springs.
