Live From Las Vegas
 

Made it to LVMS for the national and divisional events. Survived a major wind storm yesterday but the motorhome was a rocking! In the stacking line and are lucky number 13. Looks to be about 40 rigs here. Pitting starts tomorrow at 10am. This will be a day of cleaning all the dust and dirt created by the wind storm. Still very sad about the loss of Mark Lyle as is several racers I've talked to. He will be missed.

Made it into our pit spot. Things are moving great as usual. Looks like 90 rigs are pitted so far. Harold and Red as well as all the other parking people are doing their usual great job. Now for a day of R&R and maybe a beer or two later.

Made it thru tech. Too bad we couldn't run today. DA 2616. They do need to fix their scales. They're out almost 60 pounds. I didn't think I gained that much weight!

Good luck to all the racers this weekend. I read that Mike Gittings is going to be the starter. Is that true or not, just curious??

Its finally race day. Beautiful morning here in Las Vegas. Present conditions are 56.4T 36.5H 27.95BP 2320 DA. We should be running in an hour or so. Hopefully the scales are fixed.

R2 in stock just ran. DRC should post it shortly. SS hasn't run the second round of class.
We had to do some quick work on Charlene's car as the fuel didn't pass fuel check. All good for R2.
