Re: Within Stock rules???
From the article:
“Racers have figured out how to hide port work, so the NHRA has given up on trying to enforce that rule. But its still a rule? |
Re: Within Stock rules???
Wow! This looks like the unfiltered version that hit the web.
I'm going to the store to stock up on popcorn, this should generate some entertaining discussion. |

Re: Within Stock rules???
This engine in no way would pass a tear down anywhere. For multiple reasons. Read the article. I'm really surprised they didn't install an .850 lift cam while they were at it. Might as well go full Pro Stock. I'm sure NHRA will allow all the blatant violations as they have with all the chassis changes only for the new cars. This is getting more ridiculous every day. Jim

Am I missing something, porting in runners and girdle on main caps good to go now?

Re: Within Stock rules???
When I read the article my first thought was when did they change the stock rules, did I miss it ?

Re: Within Stock rules???
New Cars=New Rules??? Those get a 9" diff too but my Chevelle Doesn't!
I am beginning to think that those cars have a different rule book than the rest of us... I will bet the the "SAM-tech" car gets torn down at the next race as well as anyone affiliated with that program. Just my opinion. |
