Land and Sea Dyno?

I'm going to purchase an engine Dyno soon. Back in the late 90's I started to help a coworker set up a land and sea water brake engine Dyno. I put my old SS engine on it for initial shake outs. We found the control of the Dyno to be very problematic. The engine got away from us many times. Thank goodness for the rev limiter in ign box. I moved on from that job before we ever got it sorted out and I've lost contact with the gent.

Since then it seems land and sea has become a very big company with many offerings. I can only assume either we had a unique problem or they did and since have their stuff working well.

Anyone on here have experience with land and sea engine Dynos ???

Kevin

We have a Land and Sea dyno ,I run 4 to 5 engines a week on it. Its very reliable and the numbers are very close to my neighbor's DOTs.Got the dyno in 2009,
