Synthetic oil and solid lifters

I want to start running synthetic oil, but I was told a solid cam and lifters May not live, but you can possibly add Zinc to it.I run synthetic oil with solid lifters in the past and have had zero problems, does anybody know for sure?

We've be using Redline's 10w30 Race oil for the past 800+ passes, and no issues with a solid lifter cam.

The Lucas Oil Racing Only oil is specially formulated for racing applications and has a high zinc content. Lucas also makes a zinc additive that many people use. I personally use the Racing Only oil and half a bottle of the zinc additive in each oil change to ensure there's plenty of zinc in the oil.
