Backspacing for GM "A" Body Stocker

Looking to confirm the correct backspacing to be used on 15"X10" Rear Wheels for 70 Chevelle SS.

Thanks
Greg

I use a 15x10 with 5.5" on my chevelle. I run the Hoosier radial 30x9.

The same seems to fit nicely on my '66, for whatever that may be worth.

My chevelle is a 70 SS 396 w the original rear and as stated a 5.5 inch is what fits for a 10" wheel.

Greg, as has been stated, 5.5" and with a tire having a max section width of 12.5" which is exactly what was on my Chevelle...

without messaging/cutting/rolling the wheel well lip.

May have to center the body/wheel wells in relation to the rear by losing the body mounts.
