What are the best fitting springs to use in a 56 Chevy S/SS car ?

Re: 1956 Chevy
The 1963 Buick special rear springs, used in the front, were the hot tip in the junior stock days. I knew a couple guys that used them and they seemed to work quite well. Hope this helps. Finding good front springs these days seems to be a struggle.

Re: 1956 Chevy
for my 56 wagon, I use the front springs from a 69 Nova 4 cyl PG car. the front sits down, almost on the lower snubbers but still rises on launch. the draw back is that [I feel] the front has to be on jack stands anytime is it not on the trailer or track. you will probably have a hard time finding these.
