Torque Converter Application Opinion

My brother and I run a BBC 402 in a 71 Chevelle Wagon. The car weighs 4260 with me in it. Maximum power is made at 6200 rpm. What stall speed converter do you think is appropriate for the application? I have to admit, torque converters are not my strong suit, so any help or comment is appreciated.

Your torque converter guy will likely want to know at what RPM your torque peaks.
I would call ATI.

Just call ATI. You will be glad you did.

Yep,,, just like Mike and Ed said. Call ATI,, they will ask you all the pertinent(?) information about your combination and put together the converter of your needs. That's what I did,, and I'm glad for it.

It is good to have a balance of opinions.

With my experience, I really enjoy working with Lenny at Ultimate Converters. Everything I have bought from him has performed as expected.
