Season Opener @ VMP
 

It's time to get this season started w/ the CCRA. Our first race is next weekend and will run in conjunction w/ Michael and Anthony's Loose Rocker St. Patricks Day Classic. This will expose many bracket racers to CCRA and allow our racers to participate in multiple races over the course of 3 days. I encourage everyone to support the Loose Rocker event if you can! Throughout the week we will update items of interest for next weekend but we are going to try to have a trophy presentation for our 2014 Champion, Brian Martel, along w/ our other top finishers on Saturday.
A quick sponsor update, H&F Performance will be the sponsor of this event at VMP. Doug, Katy and Jeff have been long time supporters of CCRA and it is greatly appreciated. Also, thanks to our other event sponsors which include Ace Rug - Jim Reynolds, Warren Engines - the Warren family, Sloan Engines- Tim, Sheila and Hillary, Wisecarver Brothers - Gary and Charlie, Auto Plus - Mike and Jeff Longhany, and Victory Lane Golf Carts - Eddie Longhany. Spoke to Allen today and he informed me that gates open Thursday at 1 p.m. and will remain open through the night Thursday and Friday night so feel free to go up Friday evening if you like. Accuweather shows a high of 66 and partly sunny on Saturday...should be nice racing weather! Spread the word!!!

The Thursday test n' tune is still on. We pulled the plug on Friday due to all the rain set to come in, in addition to the cold temperatures. (FYI, Allen Carpenter is being proactive, and has 1,100' of plastic to cover the track on Friday to minimize the amount of water that even gets to the track, so we can get down to business on Saturday.

We've stacked our Fri & Sun $5K bracket races, so we'll be running two $10K's. The CCRA deal is unchanged (Saturday: 2 time trials then race) For the bracket cars, we're going to try to get everyone 2 time runs Saturday as well, time permitting. Look forward to seeing y'all!

What is the run schedule for Saturday, approx. time of first time run?

Time runs are supposed to begin at 9 and I'm not sure if we will be second or third in the rotation. If we are second I would guess around 10 but that's only speculation. Hope to see you there!
