Ron Braken Napierville Dragway Race Hemis?
 
Anyone remember Ron Braken Montreal businessman who owned Napierville Dragway and his two Race Hemis? He owned a 67 Hemi Belvedere 1 and a Hemi Dart at one time. See them raced? pics? memories? Reason I ask is Larry Lacollade sold him the dart which I now own.

Ron did have a RO23 Hemi Belvedere. In the summer of 1973 he had the car only as a roller. We purchased the Dana 60, bellhousing and related clutch parts to install in our A990 car ( the Gene's Speed Shop Dodge ). Ron then sent the car to the crusher.

Spoke to Larry Lacaillaide a few yrs back, this is one of the two cars he sold Ron. This was Border Jumper. Do you think this is the car Ron parted out that you got the parts from? .

I'm trying to remember the actual car but I don't remember it having the Lacalaide paint scheme. It's possible but the only person other than myself who would have a memory of that day would have been Bryan Wall and he passed away this past year.

I have that Dana 60,has been retubed.65 A990 car went back to 8 3/4 rear
