Gleason gears

Are Gleason gears an acceptable substitute for Richmond Pro gears? I've seen a number of "used" gear sets for sale lately from Nascar teams.I can't help but think the heat treat is different.Has anybody here used a Nascar gear with success?

Gleason gears are some of the best, used by NASCAR and NHRA Pro Stocks and Comp racers.
