'70 440 stocker
I just picked up a '70 GTX clone, 440/375/350 that was prep'd in the '90's for stock eliminator. It came w/o any heads. With an extra 200 lbs. it can run F/SA. That year has the option of the Holley 4BBL. It is missing the heads, intake and carb. When I looked at the specs it lists many heads that are legal. Any help with what would be the best choice. I have a set of nos 906's if that helps.

I think you will like the AVS better.

I would say run the 906s. I've always been under the idea that other then the max wedge heads (518) the 915s are the best then the 906s.

You might consider the Edelbrock 60917 heads. I looked at the Classification Guide for the 1970 Plymouths and the Edelbrock head is rated at 345 HP, the factory iron heads are at 350 HP. Kind of unusual for the replacement heads to be lower than the factory heads. Of course that is subject to change at any time.
