Looking For Info on a 69 m Code Dart
 

just met a fellow mopar guy and he's got a 69 M code dart. rumor has it, came out of Demicco Chrysler in Kingston n.y. was Beige with red interior and red tail stripe. probably was drag raced in area. any info would be great!

Look on moparts.com They have a M Code registry. Big-Block Dave is the user name of the keeper.

I remember that dealership.

Demicco Motors was located on E. Chester Street in Kingston.

They were a Dodge and Renault Dealership.

On a beige 1969 Dart GTS 440.

If it raced at Dover Drag Strip, I never saw it.

If it was raced, it would have been classed as follows;

Year ---- Stock --- Super Stock

* 1970 -- D/SA ....... SS/FA
* 1971 -- D/SA ....... SS/FA
* 1972 ---------- ....... SS/FA
* 1973 ---------- ....... SS/FA

* 1975 -- B/SA ....... SS/FA

Now there was a 'light-colored' 1969 Dart GTS 440 that tore up the streets of Highland Falls {Route 9W} back then.
