65 Mustang front susp.

What is the best shock and spring combo to use on a stock front 1965 Mustang with a healthy small block and a clutch?

Get in touch with Alex Denysenko and you will get all the information and help you need for that car. 219-861-1214

Alex will be of the most help here, but this is what I did when I rebuilt the front end of a 68. I used the stock spindles and a suspension rebuild kit from CJ Pony Parts. The springs were from Total Control - the competition version of their coils - and they are nice and stiff. I'm not going to recommend shocks because I just went with budget stuff there. My guess is that Calvert will be the best front and back.

The Total Control competition springs are not for drag racing use; they are for road racing applications.

Is this a race car only or a street strip car? This will tell what the car needs & is this going to be a class car or bracket car? if you p/m me I can tell you what you need. Also what size block are you using , weight on front end is important.
