Stripped T-brace whole in case

I've gotten the solenoid out is it possible to put a helicoil in it

Assuming it's a powerglide yes you probably can helicoil it. If it's one on the extension housing bolts with a 9/16 head it will need a 3/8"-16 helicoil kit.
